Complete Description:
The State of Iowa is seeking an ETL Developer with extensive experience with SQL and SSIS. The ideal candidate will have the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve with a strong sense of urgency. This person should be a self-starter, able to work both independently and cooperatively as required. The successful developer must be able to understand business requirements, data and concepts. State government experience is a definite plus.
Refine business requirements into technical requirements and specifications
Design and develop SSIS packages, database objects, tables, stored procedures and views
Performance tuning the stored procedures and T-SQL.
Communicate accurate and useful status updates
Manage and report time spent on all work activities
Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 and above
Developing packages with SSIS
Strong knowledge of XML, schemas
T-SQL language (queries, views, procedures) 
SQL Reporting Services 
Strong analytical/mathematical and reasoning skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to prioritize and manage concurrent projects, demonstrate initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Large-scale data migration experience
Data warehousing concepts
Agile Methodology
Understanding of RDBMS and Data Warehouse design
SQL Server database troubleshooting and query optimization
SQL Server Database Design
SQL Server Stored Procedure Design and implementation

•             SSIS Project BUILD provides a Deployment Manifest File.  We need to run the manifest file and decide whether to deploy this onto File System or onto SQL Server [ msdb]. 
•             Alternatively, we can also import the package from SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio) to File System or SQL Server.
4.            In T-SQL, What is the difference between an inner and outer join?
Acceptable responses:
•             An inner join involves joining two tables where a common id/key exists in both.
•             An outer join is the joining of two tables, but where there is no match in the second (or first).
